The first week of the year has not been the easiest here in Queens, where I’m still trying to find a replacement for one of my mom’s caregivers who moved out of state at the beginning of December.
What focus I have has been scattered, and I’ve little to report that wouldn’t be some very insular (and possibly self-pitying) whining. So instead of words, I bring you a few photos taken from a quick trip to Manhattan for lunch with a friend, the day windy and bitterly cold, but the sky a stunning blue.
It was really cold in the restaurant, too, but the rye pancakes I had were exemplary.
Love these images, Sue!
You have an incredible eye. Always love your perspective.
